As a proponent of simplification and adaptation, as well as conserving effort, optimization, and reuse, I can't help but approve of this post!
It's unacceptable, you understand? That's exactly how the old-school devotees of the DOS command line once railed against the triumphant march of windows. How could that be? I memorized these fucking commands, and now someone can just click an icon and get the same result? This is unacceptable! I spent half my life peeling potatoes by the bucketful, and now they're sold ready-made—all you have to do is heat them up? This is unacceptable! I spent two and a half years memorizing these fucking chords and picking patterns, learning to hold down a barre without all the strings fucking going dead at once, and now someone just swipes a finger across a screen and it comes out even better? Unacceptable!
